Kanishka; king of Kushanas gained same fame as that of Ashoka. Max Deag recognizes the similarities between both. Ashoka organized 3rd ‘Sangha Sabha’ in Pataliputa while Kanishka did the 4th meet in Kashmir. Ashoka spread Buddhism to Sri Lanka while Kaniskha spread to China. Still Kanishka is not the favorite one in the pages of history written by Lefties and British. Why so? Answer is not that difficult. Even after getting influenced by Buddhism he did not stop strengthening his army. Claiming that he is a Buddhist he expanded his empire. This is the reason that Buddhist literature states Kanishka shall not get peace in life after death. Probably, the Politics behind history is now understood.

We have seen people reacting in regards to Indian history stating ‘What we have read and What you are telling is totally different’. It is the adverse effect of lefties who altered Indian history in favour of them. They change as and when the truth comes out due to research. Last year Romila Thapar stated – ‘It is not to be discussed if Aryans are Indians or foreigners’. She was in favor of theory that Aryans were not Indian in spite of knowing the fact. She gave up when globally the theory was rejected. Just observe their arguments. Initially, Buddha opposed Brahmins in the matters of sacrifice. The followers of Buddha were banned out of country since they were opposed by Brahmins. Can you imagine what change it brought according to them? Brahmins became Vegetarians as Buddhists and they turned as Non-Vegetarians! These arguments clearly explains how corrupted Indian history. They used King Ashoka in this context. Overwhelmed the cruelty of Ashoka and stated that he tuned peaceful due Buddha. They praised his decision of being neutral and not waging any wars. British’s thought that they would be safe if Indian mindset is towards Buddha’s peace and non violence. It was mere 30 lakhs British’s ruling 30 crore Indians. They firmly thought that they could rule permanently if Indian mindset is non violent.

Everything went as expected. Thoughts of Ashoka spread across the country. British projected Ashoka as a role model to Indians who preached non violence. India which had expanded its border with its valour now became weak and was satisfied by preaching non violence. Indians forgot the preachings of Krishna and Rama who waged war against the cruel. We also forgot the teachings of Vishwamitra who ordered Rama to kill Tataki even though she was a woman. Due to all these nation came together to support Gandhiji when he stated peace and non violence. Further, Nehru was influenced by Ashoka and brought ‘PanchSheel’ (Google: Nehru’s PanchSheel principles) concepts. He has also praised Ashoka in one of his letters to his daughter, Indira Gandhi. He also states – ‘Ashoka was reborn in Jawaharlal Nehru in India’ in one of his literature works.

Nehru was very much influenced by Ashoka. He strongly believed that Ashoka’s rule was the main reason for continuity of Indian culture. He was attracted by his policy of not waging war against anyone. He was of opinion that India should move in that direction. Not only India, entire Asia and if possible entire world!
In March 1947, in the council of ‘Asian Relation Conference’ he stated – ‘Asia should step towards peace in this Nuclear Age. Peace will be a dream if Asia do not identify its role. Asia has to work towards Global peace’. It was the time at which he has thought of ‘PanchSheel’ concept and it paved way for his policy of ‘Being Neutral’. Further this was the main reason for the wars against China and Pakistan individually. These thoughts were the reason for losing against China.

Ashoka never lead his life as his ancestors. He didn’t want any wars. He wanted to influence and win over people through love. He forgot the fact that Buddha stepped out of power before he preached peace and non violence. Chandra Gupta had a huge army that was more than than Nanda’s had. Chandra Gupta has minimum of 6 lakhs soldiers, 30000 horse riders, 9000 elephants. Under the guidance of Chanakya the team of Chandra Gupta was ever ready for war. This was the reason that Maghada empire remained undefeated. His son Bindusara made it more stronger and it was Ashoka who made it weak. He failed in maintaining the balance between Scriptures (Shaastra) and Weapons (Shastra). In spite of being a student Chanakya, a vedic follower it is stated that Chandra Gupta accepted Jainism during his last days. He transferred all his powers to his Son before acceptance of Jainism and thus empire was saved.

Historian Roy Choudary blames that Indian army lost it valour since they followed policy of Non Violence. Further it was due to same reason that India failed to face the attack of Greeks. Ashoka preached the same to his next generations and they failed to maintain the empire. After Ashoka’s death the downfall of Maghada empire began.
Ashoka had lost his control over his empire even when he was alive. There were riots over his empire. Since his concentration was towards religion the ministers behaved in their own way. There was huge taxes levied during his times stated some of the historians. Earlier money came in when they defeated other kingdoms. Now due to no war strategy people were made to pay more taxes. These taxes were not used for any development instead it was given to Buddhists as donations. During the course of time value of coins of Ashoka lost its value. Historians are of opinion that ministers and officers turned corrupt!
One of the huge mistake that Ashoka did was appointing ministers for religious activities. They used to get involved in everything and influenced people to get converted to Buddhism. Indians has never experienced the forcing some religion on them. The monarchy of any empire lost themselves when they tried religious conversion. This could be noticed during times of Moguls and British. Ashoka tried to take control over religions. Ministers after Ashoka failed to understand Buddhism. They failed to rule well and all decisions were made in favour of King instead of citizens. This moved king away from common people. Even though he claimed to be near to common man but he failed. Thus downfall of Maghada empire started finally ended which failed to face Pushyamithra!

Ultimately, it is clear on some facts. Ashoka after Kalinga war with the hallucination of religion he moved away from Khshatateja. He considered Army, Soldiers, War are the elements to be hated. These made common mass lazy. Most importantly the next generation of Ashoka also preached the concept of NO WAR which lead to downfall of Maghada empire. The Indians got used to the life of slavery. It took centuries together for Indians to come out of slavery mindset. It still existed within us even after Independence in the form if ‘PanchSheel’ concept! We lost to China.
